It’s Monday, don’t let Covid get you down

Be! Motivated, set goals for each day and the week. Here are some great goals to set to keep you focused and take care of yourself, if you don’t like these pick your own and share in the comments.

1. Be! Positive – Practice The Grateful Exercise – https://positivepsychology.com/benefits-of-gratitude/ – in short, just write down three things you are grateful for and this can make you more appreciative of the good things in your life and in time change your brain chemistry to make you a more positive thinking person.
2. Be! Active – make a schedule for yourself for the week with an activity each day whether it be walk around the block, yoga class or anything that gets you moving and your heart rate up. This will release endorphins that will interact with the receptors in your brain and reduce pain. In addition, a key psychological benefit of exercise is increased self-esteem, we could all use that. 3. Be! HERE ARE MY GOALS FOR THE DAYS AND OVERALL WEEK:
1. Yoga each day on the Peloton app, 20 minutes if doing cardio, 45 if no cardio
2.Bike, Run or Walk 4x this week
3.Write 2 blogs this week for Simply Health
4.The Grateful Exercise Everyday
5.Read at least one chapter a day in a book
6.Figure out how to use the new camera I purchased over the course of the week
7.Start doing the Calm app on my phone and meditate for 10 minutes a day
